God loves his creation, especially humans; because we are made in His image.

One of the tactics most used by Satan is to attack people who realize that they have made mistakes. He heaps self condemnation, guilt, upon those who maybe want to come to God and tries to convince that them that God will want nothing to do with them. Satan and his cohorts use lies straight out of the pit of hell to confuse them and drive a wedge between the sinner and God.

The Word of God has no substitute. The Word of God is the communication of the Divine Creator to us. Because the Word of God is alive and powerful it will accomplish God's intended purpose when used.

As long as a person is alive and breathing, no one is outside the mercy and grace of God.

In Ezekiel Chapter 18 we find the two following verses.

23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?

32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!

God has a plan and intended purpose for everyone. He says in Jeremiah 29

11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

14 I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity.

Living with God is an adventure. Each morning like a small child we wake up in the morning wondering what our loving father has in store for us that day. A small child doesn't worry about the mortgage or the bills, they wake up wondering what adventure and discovery that God has for them as they go through the day.

Lamentations 3:22

22 Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.

23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

24 I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him."

25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;

26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

One of the task of the Holy Spirit is to convict us that we are sinners and that we need a Savior. Finally we come to the place that we realize that we cannot make ourselves good enough to come into the presence of a HOLY God. We need someone to help us. Jesus accomplishes that.

Romans 3:20 says: Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.

We cannot save ourselves by doing good things, we need to trust in what Jesus did for us on Calvary's Cross when Jesus was crucified.

Romans 3:21 says:

21 But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.

22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

24 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

25 God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood.

Romans 5 says:

8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!

18 Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.

19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

Through Adam's one act of disobedience of eating the forbidden fruit, sin's condemnation fell upon mankind.

Through Jesus Christ one act of obedience of going to the cross and suffering and dying for our sins, redemption is available for mankind.

Romans 6:23 says:

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This brings us to the climax in Romans Chapter 10:

9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."

12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,

13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Talk to the Lord, agree with Him that you need a Savior because you cannot save yourself. Talk to God and ask Him to save you and help you to live for Him. In the authority of His Word, he will! Simply trust that God has saved you and believe it. For confidence tell others that Jesus is your Lord and Savior and tell others of His death, burial, and resurrection. Share your faith.

Ephesians 1 says:

13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory.

When we simply trust Jesus he will give the power and strength to live for Him.

John 6 says:

28 Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?"

29 Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."

He is holding on to us, it is He that keeps us!

35 Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.

38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.

39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.

40 For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."

Finally after Salvation he will give us the will, strength and power to do the good works that he wants us to do.

God created us for fellowship with Him. With our buddies, pals, and friends, we hang out with them. We tell them of our interest and they tell us of theirs. We tell them what gives us joy and we share our problems, hopes, and dreams. God wants a relationship just like that with us. Jesus purchased the right for us to have that relationship with a Holy God by suffering and dying on the Cross at Calvary. When we read our Bibles, He talks to us. When we pray, we talk to Him. The more time we spend reading His Word and praying to Him, the closer and more wonderful is the relationship.
